Our Mission

Friends of the Kittitas Gilmour Memorial Library strive to:

• Support literacy and lifelong learning by supporting library services and activities that reach all ages and backgrounds.
• Enhance library resources by raising funds for books, technology, furnishings, and special projects.
• Foster community engagements by hosting events and programs that bring people together and celebrate our shared love of learning.
• Advocate for the library by raising awareness of its importance and championing its needs to local leaders and stakeholders.
